Development Poultry Nutriitionist - EMEA [UK]

An excellent career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Poultry Nutritionist to join Cobb Europe to assist with commercial poultry nutrition and to lead nutritional development projects, including trials. This role will require travel to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and candidates must reside within this region and also be willing to travel for up to 60% of the working year.

The main focus of the role will be to provide nutritional advice to colleagues and customers across EMEA. This advice will include all aspects of poultry nutritional requirements and feed formulation.

There will also be responsibility for trial design (both commercial and research), along with the collation, analysis and summary of the resulting trial data.

The poultry nutritionist will also be involved in product development within the business evaluating trends and ensuring the ongoing advancement of poultry nutrition.

The successful candidate will represent Cobb-Europe on internal research and other committees and produce technical bulletins for customers and management.

The role requires the initiation and maintenance of regular communication of customer requirements and comments to internal Cobb groups and to give presentations to customers at seminars about Cobb nutrition.

Requirements: –

• At least 3 years experience in a commercial poultry nutrition, or a poultry nutrition research-based role.

• Education to at least degree level in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, Animal Nutrition or similar.

• Up to date knowledge of modern large-scale poultry production methods and systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• A full driving licence.

• Ability to travel to Europe, Middle East and Africa.
