Algeria has opened its borders for Brazilian cooked chicken, after almost a decade of negotiation and bureacratic holdups.

In media reports, Francisco Turra, chief executive of the exporters association Ubabef, is quoted as saying: "Algeria is a country that is most important for the Brazilian product, plus it provides opportunities for Brazilian exporters to make partnerships with local producers and exporters."
